ACC Tournament moving to 10 teams?
Apparently this will be decided in September, but the ACC has a proposal on the table to move to a 10 team baseball tournament.

I believe the format would be that teams 7-10 would play to get into pool play.

Hopefully it never matters to FSU, but what an awful idea.

I can't imagine that format doing anyone any good.

Which means the ACC thinks it is an excellent plan.

That would explain it then.

I know the $$$ means it will never happen, but I would rather see them eliminate the ACC Tournament and let everyone play everyone in a regular 3 game series. This idea though...just flat out dumb.

Good question Fluffy. I wonder if George would know the answer to that.

The acc would just fudge the figures. So we will never know. Just look at the attendance numbers. No way they are doing better than they did in Jax.

I wish that they would drop the pool format. It's silly to be forced to play "meaningless games" like FSU had to do this year. Either make it double elimination or invite the whole conference and make it single elimination.

Or even better just declare the regular season champ the actual conference champion.
