Re: Gonzalez?
No official word but he just had a interesting tweet.

@JustgonzalezThere's a difference between underrated and hasn't made it. #thinkaboutit

I try to not put too much stock into what kids say on twitter but with Martin's statement regarding him I would say it sounds like the chances of.coming back seem good.

Re: Gonzalez?
That would be good for us. I was hoping he would go to the Cape this summer

He keeps wishing everyone who turned pro good luck so I'm pretty sure he is coming back.

RE: Gonzalez?
It would be nice to have him anchor down the infield, and hopefully provide solid leadership as well. Get the K's down and he's a decent offensive weapon. I don't worry about him defensively.

RE: Gonzalez?
He never seemed comfortable after he got hurt during the year. So maybe some time off this summer will help with that. I really like his bat. When it is hot it is HOT! If he could improve from last year, we might see around 12-15 HRs

RE: Gonzalez?
I'd prefer he not worry about more HR's and reduce the K's. I'm not sure if the two are related with him, but sometimes you get guys swinging for the fences and not taking hits, if you know what I mean. Heck, just trade in half the K's for BB's and I'll be tickled pink! Wink

RE: Gonzalez?
I'd be shocked if he didn't come back.

Not sure how much we can expect him to cut down on the strikeouts

YEAR K% BB%
2012 28.5% 11.7%
2011 26.3% 11.0%
2010 25.8% 15.8%

RE: Gonzalez?
At one point around the ACC tournament, Delph was striking out more frequently for the season than Gonzalez.

That changed as Gonzo finished with a K every 3.46 PAs while Delph finished at 4.11 PAs.

Some people are high on Delph, just something I noticed and thought I'd point out.
